Vent: My woodworking project was a mess until I heard about a podcast on basic techniques

I was building a small table and everything kept going wrong. Listening to 'Carpentry Corner' gave me the confidence to fix my mistakes and finish it. What podcasts have you all used for hands-on hobbies like this?

My first birdhouse looked like it had been in a fight and lost badly. Turns out I was using wood glue like it was toothpaste and had no clue about basic joinery. The "Making Things" podcast saved me, specifically their episodes on choosing the right fasteners and fixing wobbly corners. Now my projects are just kinda ugly instead of fully falling apart.

Noah, Hand Tool School covers sharpening, not just saw grip.

lol i feel this, my first woodworking project looked like it was put together by a drunk badger. i kept messing up simple cuts for weeks. then i found the 'hand tool school' podcast and it basically taught me how to hold a saw properly, which was clearly a skill i was missing. still make messy stuff but now i know why at least.
