Laughed at a $200 template bundle two months ago but it just saved me 10 hours on a scope proposal...

I caved and bought that contract template pack from a lawyer I found on a forum in Charlotte and it cut my negotiation time from 3 days to a single afternoon, has anyone else found a template that actually paid for itself?

You are just lucky that template happened to work for your situation. Most of those overpriced bundles are just generic stuff you could find for free with a little digging.

Whoa, hold up - I gotta push back a little here. In my experience, paying for a well-structured template from somebody who actually lives and breathes this stuff saves way more headaches than chasing down free versions that might have hidden clauses or just be outdated. Take this with a grain of salt, but I've seen too many people waste a weekend Frankensteining together free templates only to end up with gaps that cost them way more than $200 later on.
