Picked the cheap client over the picky one and regret it big time

Last month I had two offers for a web design job. One paid $1,200 but wanted revisions on everything, the other paid $800 and said my first draft was fine. I took the easy $800 client because I wanted a chill project. Now they keep hitting me with random changes and acting like I owe them the world. Anyone else have a client that started easy and turned into a nightmare?

Wait no let me jump in here because I think there's something off about how you're framing this. The $800 client didn't start easy at all. They said your first draft was fine because they wanted to pay less and probably thought they could push you around later. Cheap clients often do that whole "we're so easygoing" thing just to get you to say yes, then they turn around and treat you like their personal employee. Next time a client says your first draft is perfect without any feedback at all, that's actually a red flag waving right in your face. You gotta watch for that sweet talk because it usually means they'll nickel and dime you on changes down the road.
