Wasted $400 on a coworking membership and it broke my brain

Signed up for a fancy spot in Austin for 3 months and only went 4 times because the free coffee wasn't worth the 45 minute drive. Has anyone else found a better setup that actually keeps you leaving the house?

I read a post last week from someone in Denver who rents a desk at a quiet hotel lobby cafe for $10 a day and says it changed everything for them. The 45 minute drive is definitely the killer here, I had the same issue with a WeWork eight miles away and barely went either. Maybe look for a spot closer to home even if it's less fancy, that way the free coffee actually feels worth the trip.
