Ngl, I thought the new software my partner pushed for was a waste of money, but after running the numbers last month I found over $800 in overcharges to tenants that the old system never flagged. Anyone else switch systems and find hidden billing errors that made you feel dumb for waiting?

Say that's a pretty small number in the grand scheme of things. $800 over two years is basically a rounding error for most landlords. The real cost was probably your time digging through the old data plus the headache of explaining it to tenants who suddenly got credits. Frankly, the old system might have been doing you a favor by hiding those charges. Now you've got to fix the books, send apology emails, and hope nobody sues you.
