Noticed a big jump in tenant turnover at my complex in Phoenix
I manage a 40 unit building near downtown Phoenix and last month alone I had 6 tenants move out. That's way higher than my usual 2 or 3 per quarter. Over half of them said they were leaving because rent went up by $150 or more at renewal. Anyone else seeing a similar spike in people leaving over rent hikes?

Wait, are you me? I manage a place in Scottsdale and I'm seeing the same thing, three people gave notice just this week over their rent going up $125. Yeah @mitchell.thomas is right, it's wild out here right now with people just bouncing the second renewals hit.

Wait, didn't @mitchell.thomas already mention his Tempe buddy lost four in one week? That Scottsdale thing tracks with what I've seen around town too though - rent hikes are pushing people out everywhere.
