My small win with a breathing trick on a tough delivery
A big dog barked at me non-stop during a delivery today. I remembered to take slow breaths like I read in a psych piece, and it kept me from freaking out. Don't you think it's funny how our brains need reminders to use simple fixes?

Yeah calling it a "life hack" is spot on because it's like a free tool you always have with you. It's weird how something so simple can actually change your body's physical reaction when your brain is freaking out. Feels less like just calming down and more like you're literally steering your nervous system back on track. You ever notice how it becomes almost automatic after practicing it during smaller stress moments?

I took a yoga class years ago and thought that stuff was silly. Trying it during a panic attack last month totally changed my mind, it really works.
