That $50 bookkeeping course I bought took me 4 weekends to finish

Thought I could knock it out in one Saturday but the worksheets were way more involved than the ad let on. Has anyone else found a quick certification that actually took way longer than promised?

A friend of mine grabbed a bookkeeping cert that claimed 10 hours total but it ended up being closer to 30 with all the practice sets and quizzes. Those online course makers always gloss over how much outside work you really have to do. Feels like the only quick certifications that stick are the ones that actually require you to put in the time.
