Appreciation post: That Reddit comment that fixed my back pain
Someone on r/Ergonomics told me my elbow angle was wrong. I had my chair arms set too high for 2 years. Lowered them to 90 degrees and the shoulder pain disappeared in 3 days. Anyone else get a random piece of advice that saved you?

Oh man, that's wild how such a small change can make that big of a difference. So after you lowered the armrests, did you have to mess with your desk height too? I feel like that would throw off where my keyboard sits and then you're just trading one pain for another.

Wait, wouldn't lowering the armrests actually bring your arms closer to your keyboard, making it easier to type without hunching your shoulders? I always thought the desk height stays the same, you just adjust the chair to get the right arm position.

Honestly used to think desk height was the fix but yeah you're right the chair matters way more.
