Appreciation post: I finally get why my dad always slept with the window cracked open (seriously, it's a game changer).
I used to think it was silly, but now I can't sleep without that fresh air.

Honestly, I was the exact same way. Used to think it was such a weird habit, especially in winter. But then I tried it one stuffy night and the difference is crazy. My room doesn't feel all closed in and gross anymore. Waking up to that cool, clean air just feels better, you know? Even the smell is nicer, like after rain or just summer night air.

Opening windows is like decluttering... fresh start daily.

Reading your take, @luna_stone23, got me wondering about the practical side of this. Do you ever deal with outside noise or pollen messing with the fresh air vibe? I'm all for that clean smell (seriously, it's like a reset button for my brain), but my street gets loud at night. Balancing the good air with sleep disruption feels tricky, and I'd love to hear how you handle it. Maybe there's a sweet spot for window opening times or something. It's one of those things that seems simple but has layers, you know?

Heard a podcast where they said fresh air at night helps regulate your body temperature for sleep. They mentioned that stale air can make you feel groggy in the morning. For noise issues, I try opening the window just a crack and using a box fan for background sound. Pollen is tricky, but I check the daily count and shut it on high days. The cool breeze feels so much better than stuffy AC air. It took me a week to adjust, but now I'm hooked on that outdoor freshness.
