Changed my mind about urgent care after 3 years of avoiding it
I always thought urgent care was a waste of money for freelancers since you still have to pay even if they just tell you to rest. Last month I had a flu that knocked me out for a week and my urgent care visit cost $85 but they gave me actual meds that got me back to work in 3 days. Has anyone else found a cheap clinic that actually helps you recover faster?

What made you finally give in and go after three years?

honestly @webb.hannah i think the thing that finally got me was realizing the store had changed completely since i last went. the new layout made it feel like a different place entirely and that kinda lowered the wall for me. also a friend showed me their app and i saw they had stuff i actually wanted for once. it was less about "giving in" and more like the stars just aligned i guess.

The $85 sounds about right for a decent visit. I was in the same boat for years, @webb.hannah. I figured if I could just tough things out at home, why pay the money. But last winter I had a bad sinus infection that just kept getting worse. Walked into a local clinic, paid $95, and they gave me a proper antibiotic that cleared it up in a couple days. Sometimes you just need the professional help, and it's worth not being miserable for two weeks.
