Right? I had to double check I wasn't buying gold leaf infused tea or something. For $4 I'd expect the ginger to have a little personal chef come brew it for me. That's basically one step away from a whole fancy latte at a coffee shop. And you're telling me it's just a pack of bags, not even a box? I'm pretty sure I could buy a whole ginger root for that price and make a hundred cups. This is the same energy as paying $6 for a bottle of water at a concert, just pure price gouging on something basic.
