Found a cheap way to store winter blankets under the bed without those bulky vacuum bags

I rolled them tight and stuffed each into a cheap pillowcase from Target - takes up way less space than the plastic bags that always leaked air after a month. Anyone else got a hack for storing bulky stuff in small apartments?

Try flipping them upside down in the pillowcase and tucking the ends under the mattress, keeps them flat and out of the way without sliding around.

Three times now I've woken up at 3am with a pillowcase twisted around my neck like I'm auditioning for a magic trick. Last time I just gave up and slept on the floor with my face pressed against a folded towel. Your method sounds way smarter than my strategy of just wrestling with the pillow until I pass out.

Notice how many of our daily frustrations just come from doing the same thing over and over without stopping to think if there's a better way. Once you start questioning the little routines, it's amazing how many of them don't hold up to even a minute of thought.
