Paid $90 for a vacuum sealer that barely fits a bag of chips

Bought that compact vacuum sealer claiming to save space in the pantry, but the chamber is so small I can't even seal a standard bag of frozen veggies without cutting them in half. Has anyone found a sealer that actually works for normal-sized stuff without taking up half a counter?

Honestly I was one of those people who thought a small vacuum sealer would be fine for most stuff. I grabbed a FoodSaver FM1200 last year and it was exactly like you described, a joke for anything bigger than a single chicken breast. Then I borrowed my buddy's Weston Pro 2300 and it changed my whole view on sealers. That thing handles full bags of chips, big freezer packs, even whole roasts without any trouble. Tbh the counter space tradeoff is totally worth it if you actually use the thing for normal sized food.

Tossed that tiny sealer after two weeks. Went with an Anova chamber sealer instead. Yeah it's bigger but I can seal a whole bag of tortilla chips without breaking them.

Wait till you try it with wet foods like soup. That's the real game changer.
