I used to write three paragraph emails to clients and now I send bullet points with a one sentence summary at the top

Switched after a builder in Oak Park told me he stopped reading my quotes halfway through and I realized I was losing money on every job because nobody wades through all that fluff.

Yeah "skimmed them" is basically the same thing. If someone tells you they're skimming your messages they're not really reading them. But honestly maybe she needed to hear that. Some people write way too much. @tessap97 acts like this is some huge betrayal but think about it. If you're sending walls of text every day eventually anyone's gonna tune out. He's probably got his own stuff going on. Work, life, whatever. Maybe he was being honest instead of pretending. That's worth something. A lot of people would just say "yeah I read it" and ignore half of it. At least he was straight with her.
