Warning: stopped using a separate business bank account for 6 months and it was a nightmare
I used to just mix personal and freelance money in one account because I thought it was easier. Then tax time came and I spent 4 hours sorting through Starbucks runs and printer ink receipts. Switching back to a dedicated account saved me at least $150 in accountant fees alone. Has anyone else dealt with untangling expenses after mixing accounts?

Feel your pain dude. Sorting personal crap from business stuff is the worst.

Not separating business and personal is a nightmare I’ve pulled myself out of too, lol. That $150 accountant fee you saved is probably on the low end of what you’d pay if they had to sort through six months of personal crap.
