The site migration that broke 47 internal links and taught me to double check everything
I had a client's website moved to a new host last week and their whole blog section just stopped working for two days. Turned out the domain DNS hadn't fully propagated and I was stupid enough to start editing files before it settled. Has anyone else had a migration go sideways like that?

That sounds frustrating. I had something similar happen a few years back with a small nonprofit's site. I was in too big of a hurry and started changing permalink settings before the old host fully switched off. Ended up with a mess of 404 errors and had to rebuild the whole sitemap from scratch. These sorts of mistakes sure teach you patience.

Yeah those kinds of lessons stick with you. Always check DNS propagation first.
