Hit $10k in a month for the first time and it freaked me out more than I thought
I've been freelancing for about 4 years doing logo and brand work. Last month I crossed $10k in revenue for the first time ever. I thought I'd be thrilled but honestly I felt panicked for three days straight. The issue was I had no system to handle that volume of work and almost dropped a deadline because of it. I ended up working 70 hour weeks just to keep up and my back is still wrecked from sitting too long. So I'm wondering for those of you who have hit big months before, did you set up any kind of buffer or limit before it happened? Or did you just wing it like me?

It's like how people max out credit cards and panic, same pattern.

Read a post where someone caps new clients after a big month like that.

Wait, did that person actually stick with the cap or did they cave after a few weeks of turning people away?
