The $12 mileage app that beat my handwritten log by $340
I used to scribble miles on a notepad and guess at the end of each month. Last year I switched to a simple mileage tracker app and in June my deduction jumped from $1,180 to $1,520 for the same driving. The app logged every trip automatically, so I stopped forgetting those short runs to the supply store and post office. Has anyone else found their undercounted miles were way more than they thought?

isn't it funny how the little stuff we don't track adds up to real money without us noticing? feels like that same thing happens with receipts for cash purchases or even just time spent on side tasks. you think you've got it covered but the gaps are way bigger than you'd guess.
