Picked up a used $40 label maker at a garage sale in Des Moines last Saturday
I was browsing a garage sale in Des Moines last weekend and found a dusty old label maker for $40. Threw some batteries in it and the thing actually works. I've been using it to tag my sample binders and plant containers for client proposals. It saves me like 15 minutes a day vs writing everything by hand. Has anyone else found an oddball gadget that just clicked with their workflow?

Not gonna lie I used to think label makers were just for people who really liked organizing their spice rack or whatever. Like something my grandma would buy at an office supply store and then never use. But then I picked one up at a thrift store for eight bucks just to mess around with and now I'm labeling everything in my workshop. It's kind of dumb how much time it actually saves you. I was totally wrong about them being a waste of money.

@dakota_miller93 you're probably right, but I'm still not convinced it's not just a fancy way to waste time.

You ever find yourself labeling random stuff around the house just cause you can now?
