Vent: That $40 "productivity" app I bought last month was a total scam

It promised to block all distractions and sync across devices, but it crashed every 20 minutes and ate up 2GB of RAM. I lost half a day reinstalling it and getting a refund from the developer. Anyone else fall for a hyped tool that was just garbage?

Man, isn't that always how it goes with those "life changing" tools, they promise the moon but can't even handle basic stuff like staying open for more than 20 minutes. Makes you wonder if the developer even tested it on a real computer or just built it on a perfect little sandbox machine.

lol truth. I tried one of those "game changing" note taking apps last week and it crashed 3 times in the first hour. They ship this stuff with a demo video shot on a Macbook Pro with 64GB of RAM and then act surprised when it chokes on a regular laptop with Chrome tabs open. Basic stability should be table stakes, not a feature request.
