My laptop died mid-project at a Dundas West cafe last Tuesday

I was editing a wedding shoot at a busy spot on Dundas West when my laptop just shut off and wouldn't turn back on. Turns out the battery completely gave out after 4 years of heavy use and I lost about 30 minutes of unsaved edits. Has anyone found a good repair shop downtown that can get a swollen battery fixed fast without charging an arm and a leg?

4 years? Replace the battery yourself. Saved me $80 last time.

Just do it yourself man, @adam186 is totally right. I watched a 10 minute video on YouTube and had my phone's battery swapped in like 20 minutes. The kit with the tools and the battery cost me $25 on Amazon. Saved a TON of money and now I know how to do it for any future phone too. It's really not hard as long as you go slow and don't rush the glue part.
