That free Notion template I downloaded for invoices actually caught a $300 error
I used a free invoice tracker from a Toronto freelancer's blog and it flagged a payment that was $300 short from a client I'd already marked as paid. Has anyone else found a free tool that saved you from losing money?

Oh wow that's really cool you caught that! But you know, it probably wasn't the template that flagged it, it was just your own eyes finally noticing the numbers didn't add up... Templates can only organize information, they can't actually think for you or find mistakes on their own. The real hero here is you taking the time to double check everything instead of just trusting what you saw. A lot of people would have just shrugged and moved on without looking closer at their bank statements. So give yourself some credit for catching that $300 shortfall before it slipped away for good.
