Had my best day in three years last Tuesday and it feels weird
Last Tuesday I got three decent gigs in a row out of nowhere. One was a furniture assembly in Dallas that paid $120 for two hours, and the other two were small handyman jobs that added up to $180 by dinner. Usually I'm scrapping for $50 offers or driving 45 minutes for a no-show, so this felt like hitting a jackpot. Truck ran fine, no traffic, and every customer actually tipped cash on top. I keep waiting for the bad streak to hit again and it's making me paranoid. Has anyone else had a random good day that made them suspicious?

Yeah I started watching for the other shoe to drop immediately.

Hold your horses a little bit though. Is it really THAT deep? Sometimes a good run is just a good run, not some cosmic setup for a disaster. Maybe instead of waiting for something bad to happen, you could just enjoy that things are going smooth for once. Not everything has to be some big test or warning sign from the universe.

Yeah man I feel you, that paranoid feeling is real after getting burned so many times. Best thing I ever did was stash that good day cash in a separate envelope and just keep grinding like normal the next day. Dont let the good luck make you sloppy, take it as a sign that your hustle is working and just keep putting yourself out there.
