I finally stopped saying yes to every "I'll pay you exposure" pitch

It hit me after mathing out three of those offers and realizing I had given away about $850 worth of work for zero actual paying leads, so now I just say "no thanks send cash" and move on, has anyone else had a specific number finally make you snap?

Hard math is the only thing that shuts that nonsense down. Your wallet never lies.

Was that $850 number what finally made you draw the line? Good for you, I know that had to sting but it's better to see it now than later.

Yeah the $850 was definitely the moment it all clicked. Hard to ignore that number when you add it up month after month. I had a similar thing happen with a gym membership I never used. $50 a month felt like nothing until I realized I'd paid $600 over a year for zero workouts. Makes you wonder how many other little charges are eating your money without you noticing.

Right? It's wild how those small charges add up without you noticing.
