Just realized I wasted $80 on a 'premium' invoice template pack
Back when I started gig work around 2019, I thought fancy invoices would make me look more professional. So I dropped $80 on this big template pack with all these designs and fonts. Turns out clients just want a simple PDF that shows the amount and where to pay. I could've used Google Docs for free and saved that cash for gas money. Anyone else buy something early on that you totally regret?

Bought a hundred dollar planner set once and never opened it, such a waste of money.

@noraroberts that "never opened it" part is what gets me. was it the pretty cover that sold you or did you actually think youd use all those sections? i always wonder if people like us just like buying the idea of being organized more than actually being organized lol. i got a leather bound one once too and i think i used it for like 3 days before it ended up in a drawer with some dead pens.
