Rant: Quit taking $50 gigs after a guy wanted 3 revisions for a logo

I used to take anything that moved, like $50 logo jobs on Upwork because I thought it was building a portfolio. But after a dude in Miami made me redo his logo three times for that price, I snapped. Now I wont even open a chat if it's under $150 for anything design related. The time suck from lowball clients is worse than the money you make. I tell them straight up, my rate is $40 an hour or they can find someone on Fiverr. What's your minimum number before you walk away from a gig?

Three revisions for fifty bucks is absolutely INSANE behavior.

Fifty dollars for three revisions sounds like a steal when you consider the actual cost of running a business, including software, taxes, and time. Artists need to eat too, and offering unlimited changes just invites clients to nickel and dime every detail. At that price point, three rounds is generous and should be more than enough for a skilled professional to nail what you're asking for.

Come on, fifty bucks is basically pocket change for something you're gonna be staring at for years lol.
