Am I the only one who preferred the blocky graphics in early VR worlds?

Remember when VR spaces had simple shapes and basic colors that left room for your mind to fill in the gaps. I think today's hyper-realistic settings can make everything feel less surprising and more like a tech demo. What do you all think, did we lose something when the visuals got too good?

Wow, I used to want the best looking graphics all the time. But this post made me see it different. Those blocky old worlds let you fill in the blanks with your own stuff. Now when VR looks too perfect, it just feels flat and boring. So I guess the charm really was in the simplicity.

Your brain had to do half the work? That's crazy to hear someone say that out loud. It totally makes sense though, those old worlds felt more personal because you filled in the blanks. Now with all the details shown so clearly, it's like there's no room left for surprise. Do you ever get bored when everything looks too good?

Remember the charm was in the gaps they left... not really work, just room to dream.
