That $800 website redesign I argued about with a copywriter friend

My buddy Mark kept pushing me to cut the text on my HVAC service site down to like 5 bullet points per page, saying nobody reads anymore. I fought him on it for a month before finally testing it on two city landing pages last summer. Anyone else had a writer buddy give advice that actually worked better than what the design blogs say?

My old landlord tried to convince me to paint my entire apartment beige to help with resale value... ended up loving it way more than the bold colors I had picked.

Dude same, I painted my whole place greige and now I cant go back to color.
