Vent: Went to a coworking space in Denver last Tuesday and it was a total zoo

I always thought coworking spaces were the magic fix for lonely freelancers. But I visited one near downtown Denver around 11am and it was packed, loud, and smelled like burnt coffee. The wifi kept dropping during a quick Zoom test I ran. Honestly it felt harder to focus there than at my kitchen table. Now I'm thinking maybe a library or a quiet coffee shop with a good signal is better. Has anyone else found a solid spot that's actually quiet?

That burnt coffee smell is somehow in every coworking place I've been to. There's this spot off Colfax called The Bindery that used to be decent, quiet in the mornings at least. Last time I was there a guy was taking conference calls right in the open area like it was his living room. Funny how the whole point of these places is to get work done but they make it impossible sometimes.

The Bindery used to be my go-to until the conference call guy showed up too.

Oh man, try the library. Quiet floors actually mean quiet.
