Just crossed 500 hours of video calls from my home office this year

I checked my Zoom stats and realized I've spent 500 hours on calls just from my desk since January. Made me think about getting a better mic setup or maybe a standing desk for better back support. Anybody else hit a crazy number like that and rethinking their workspace?

Friend of mine got a standing desk and she just uses it to hide from @flores.mark's pacing energy.

Holy cow, 500 hours is no joke. I hit around 300 and my voice started going out on me like a cheap walkie talkie. I thought about getting one of those fancy mics but then I realized my problem is I talk too much and lean too close to my laptop like I'm confessing secrets. The standing desk idea is good, but fair warning, I tried it and just ended up pacing around my room like a caged animal before giving up and sitting back down. Better back support might be the real win here, my chair is basically a cardboard box with delusions of grandeur.
