Bingeing a show like that is REALLY satisfying. It's like when you clean a whole room at once instead of just doing a little bit each day. You get to see the whole story flow without forgetting little details between sessions. That's the thing with life, people drag EVERYTHING out now. Scroll a little here, watch a little there, never commit. There is something to be said for just going hard on something and finishing it. It gives a sense of accomplishment that all those little bits and pieces never will.

Yeah but the downside is you burn through it way too fast and then you're stuck in that weird empty feeling when it's over. Nothing worse than finishing a banger of a show in a weekend and realizing you've got nothing to look forward to.

I actually read somewhere that binging a show like this helps your brain retain more of the story because you're not constantly having to remind yourself what happened last week. That makes a lot of sense to me. You definitely get the full picture when you sit down and just watch it all at once.
