I finally finished 100 anime and quit 63 of them, and the quitters taught me more than the finishers
Hit episode 100 of my watch log last Tuesday and the number that shocked me wasnt the 100, it was the 63 shows I dropped, most before episode 4. The popular take is you should push through slow starts, but every show I forced past ep 5 turned into a chore I resented, while the ones I bailed on freed up nights for stuff I actually loved like Odd Taxi and Ping Pong. So whats your drop rule, do you give a show 3 eps or do you bail after one bad scene?
