I mocked the filler episode compilations, now they're my favorite thing

For years I thought those 'all filler in 10 minutes' videos were just for people too lazy to watch the actual show. Then I hit episode 140 of a long running series and realized I had forgotten half the beach episodes anyway. Now I use them to refresh before a new season drops, saves me about 8 hours total and I actually catch jokes I missed the first time. Does anyone else do this or am I just rewatching the same clips on a loop like a weirdo?

Caught myself doing the same thing last week for a series I've watched twice. Honestly feels like cheating but also, who has 8 hours to spare just to remember which episode had the hot spring scene?
