Tried watching one episode at 1.5x speed on my lunch break and now the normal pace feels broken
I kept falling behind on a 24 episode show every season so on my 30 minute break at the shop I tried 1.5x speed just to get through it. Weirdly it worked, I finished the arc in 4 days and could actually follow the plot, though fights now sound like chipmunks. Anyone else mess with playback speed or does it wreck the show for you?

My buddy said chipmunks ruined a big fight scene so he quit speeding up after that.

What exactly did the chipmunks do to wreck the scene, was it the voices or the speed messing with the timing of the punches? A speed up can make a fight look like a joke if the pitch gets squeaky on top of it. Did he ever try just speeding up the video without touching the audio?
