Customer's stash of mismatched screws turned into a nightmare yesterday
Doing a fridge compressor swap in Tulsa and this guy had swapped every original screw for random ones from jars, stripped heads everywhere. Took me 2 extra hours just to get the panels off, and I snapped two bits trying to work around his handiwork. Why do people do that instead of just calling us first? Has anyone else walked into a DIY screw situation that made a simple job way worse?
