That drawer trick from @evan_grant70 works every time. Got called a "fix-it saint" once, which is just the magic hands thing with more pressure.

Isn't that the best kind of compliment? I fixed a friend's kitchen drawer once and her mom called me a "domestic wizard," which felt pretty great.
