Salvaging an oven from the scrap heap gave me a new respect for thermal fuses
I took apart a junk oven and was surprised by how tricky the thermal fuses are. What's your take on dealing with safety parts in home fixes?

Oh man, that little ten dollar part can turn a simple fix into a whole weekend project. You feel like a genius until you realize you checked everything BUT the fuse.
