That $60 moisture meter in Dayton beat my 20 years of touch testing
Picked up a pinless meter after a call in Kettering where I swore a dryer was fine but the customer's wall had hidden mold. Run it on every washer and dryer job now, caught 3 bad drain pumps in the last month that felt fine to my fingers. The old way of feeling for heat or dampness just does not cut it with newer sealed units. Anyone else switch to a meter and find they trust it over their own hands?
