TIL my multimeter batteries can die at the worst possible moment

Was diagnosing a no-start on a Whirlpool dryer last Wednesday in Tulsa and my Fluke just went blank mid-check. Now I keep a spare 9V in my bag, anyone else carry backup batteries for their gear?

Ever notice how things only break when you actually need them to work? It's like the universe has a special timing for that kind of stuff.

My husband's old truck has a way of waiting until we're on the highway with a full load of groceries before it starts making that funny noise. It's like things know when you have the least time to deal with them.

Nah, trucks don't have a secret sense of timing, just bad luck with old parts lol.
