Watched a fridge gasket swap cut a power bill by $14 a month in Tucson
A customer in Tucson called me out for a fridge that felt warm on the hinge side. I ran a dollar bill test on the door gasket and it slid out with almost no drag on the whole hinge half. Swapped the gasket for $38 in parts and two hours of labor, and a month later she texted me a photo of her electric bill, down $14 from the same month a year ago. I always figured a bad seal cost you a few bucks, not that much. Anyone else tracking actual power bill changes after simple seal jobs?
