I finally learned a Neanderthal skeleton takes about 1,200 hours to piece back together
Heard it from a museum volunteer in Denver while staring at a skull mount, and I couldn't stop thinking about how one bad drawer of bones could eat someone's entire year. Does anyone know if that number holds up for digs with more complete skeletons?
