Pro tip: wetting the trench wall first saved my dig at a site near Tucson
Kept losing the outline of a 900 year old pit house floor every time I brushed it dry, until an older volunteer showed me to mist the dirt with a spray bottle first and the edges popped right out, so has anyone else tried this on adobe style floors?
