Saw the old Roman bridge near Merida last month. It's different now.

The water levels must have changed or something. Those old bridges look completely different when the river is low or high compared to old photos. Bet the stones have weathered more since the last time you saw it too.

Friend of mine tried lining up an old photo of his bridge and realized the water was three feet higher in the 1800s.

Jump right into the sarcasm: So his bridge has a built-in time machine now? That's wild. @lee.cora I bet the water was just REALLY thirsty back then, you know, before all those extra dams and irrigation. Probably some old-timey beavers with a solid union got together and raised the river level for fun. Those stones must have seen some serious weather too, but I'm sure the photo's just playing tricks on us.
