Had to choose between a cordless clipper and a corded one for $300
I was running a full day of haircuts last Saturday and my old corded Wahl started overheating after the third head. I had to make a quick call between buying a cordless Gamma+ for $220 or sticking with a corded Oster for $180. I went with the Gamma+ because I was sick of tripping over wires. It handled 12 cuts without a hiccup and the battery lasted the whole shift. No fade issues either, which surprised me. Has anyone else made the switch and found the cordless cuts save time or just cause more charging headaches?

Did you notice any difference in how the Gamma+ handled thicker or wetter hair compared to the corded stuff you had before? Like did it bog down at all on the tougher spots?

Held up fine honestly, kinda like how good tools just do their job without drama.

And @parker_webb, I've heard the Gamma+ is pretty solid for its price tag, but I still wonder if those cordless clippers lose torque over time compared to a good corded one. My buddy who runs a shop says he keeps a backup corded clipper just in case his battery dies mid-cut.
