Old barber told me my fade was backwards, he had a point
Was working on a client last Tuesday and this older guy, been cutting for like 30 years, watched me for a minute. He said I started too high and was basically doing a reverse fade. I always thought you work from the top down, but he showed me you gotta start at the bottom and build up. Tried it on the next few heads and it's way smoother blending. Has anyone else had a setup like that where doing it in reverse order just clicks better? Any tips for making the transition lines cleaner when you switch directions?
