Shoutout to the guy in my shop who fixed a stubborn clipper blade
Had a Wahl Senior that kept pulling hair no matter how I adjusted it. Took me a full hour of messing with the tension and oil before he showed me a tiny burr on the blade's edge I missed. What's your go-to method for a quick blade check before a cut?

Full hour of messing with it" is my standard operating procedure before I finally notice the obvious problem.

That's not patience, that's stubbornness. You just refuse to look up the manual or ask for help. It's a different kind of skill.

You're more patient than me, @jamiehayes.

Honestly, is a little hair pulling really that big of a deal? I've seen plenty of guys run a blade that's slightly off for a full cut and nobody even notices. Maybe it's just me, but I feel like spending an hour hunting for a tiny burr is overkill when you could just adjust the tension and get on with it. Half the time the customer won't even feel the difference anyway. You really think a tiny burr is worth all that time?
