Spent $200 on a cordless clipper and it died in 8 months

Bought a top brand cordless clipper thinking I'd love the freedom of no cord. But the battery went dead after 8 months of daily use and now it won't hold a charge at all. Anyone found a cordless clipper that actually lasts more than a year?

Ugh, that sucks so much. Eight months for a $200 clipper is just brutal.

Used to think waiting was fine, definitely changed my mind @the_drew.

8 months of daily use" - that's rough, but honestly I'm not surprised. I had the same thing happen with a Wahl cordless. Paid $180 or something, battery was toast in like 10 months. Just stopped holding a charge one day. Tried replacing the battery myself but it was glued in there real good. Total waste of money. Cordless is nice but not when it dies that fast.
