The $140 clipper that paid for itself in 3 weeks

My old corded Wahl finally gave up last month mid fade at 2pm on a Saturday. Stood in front of a full chair and went huh. Ran to the shop down the street and grabbed a cordless model for 140 bucks. The blade cuts way smoother and the battery lasts all day with no drag. I was worried about spending that much on a whim but honestly the time I save not fighting with the cord every cut makes it worth it. Anybody else switch to cordless and never look back?

See I gotta disagree with you there. I went cordless a couple years back cause everyone swore by it, and it just never clicked for me. The battery always dies at the worst possible moment, right when I'm doing the back of someone's head and I gotta stop and hunt for the charger. Plus the weight distribution feels totally different in my hand, threw off my whole rhythm for a solid month. I know the cord is annoying but at least I never gotta worry about losing power in the middle of a cut. My old corded one is still going strong, I just replaced the blade once and it's like new. I get the convenience factor, but for me the trade off of always charging it just aint worth it.

Did you ever think about how cordless lets you cut in weird positions that the cord physically won't reach, like turning the clipper upside down for a tricky neckline?
