A contractor I used to work with in Phoenix told me he sends a handshake deal by email the same day, and I brushed it off for 3 months
I figured a text was enough if we both agreed on a number for the drywall job, but when the client tried to knock $400 off at the end, I had nothing to point to. Now every job I take gets a short email with the price and scope, even if it's just a paragraph. How do you all lock in a verbal 'yes' without making it feel like a legal thing?
